To celebrate and promote Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Target asked for an in-store experience showcasing the film’s prominent themes: female empowerment, identity, unity and hope.
Our response: a multi-touchpoint experience that welcomed and immersed our guests with the vibrancy of Wakanda at Target.

Our response: a multi-touchpoint experience that welcomed and immersed our guests with the vibrancy of Wakanda at Target.
The promotion featured a welcome archway at the front of the store with motion-activated music and an LED hologram (a Target first).
The custom signage elements, created via CGI, included a hologram logo, screen displays and Vibranium-inspired structures that referenced the tech within Shuri’s lab and celebrated main characters.
The first in-store AR experience at Target
The Black Panther at Target AR experience (made in partnership with Target’s internal team) included yet another in-store first with custom, exclusive content and experiences that helped drive sales of featured products.
